Aiming High in Play Our Aiming high club started in November 2008with support from the local authority. This gave an opportunity for young people with disabilities between the ages of 5 to 11 years to access a range of activities with their own friend’s and which includes added support from staff when needed. The club provides a range of supported activities such as arts and crafts and themed educational programmes, “The Funhouse” activity space, school holiday activities including computers and video gaming, internet access, indoor games and outdoor sports. Trips are also organised built around fun based programmes.Young people from the aiming high club have accessed other provision including the music workshop and fun day activities. However this is only due to the added staffing support via funding from the local authority and the Aiming High Team. The range of provision HYPP have provided has been enhanced by up-to-date training made available to us via the Aiming High Team. Staff now have a greater understanding of the issues/barriers facing young people with disabilities and can now use this to add depth to programs/activities.For further information please ring the project on the above number HYPP Stadium FC Winners of Russell Foster League Cup under 21s 2010 / 11 Season Summer Activity 2011 Hamsterly Bike Ride 2011 Monday Night6.00pm - 8.00pmCentre Based Mixed Youth SessionsYears 7 to 11Detached East End & HendonTuesday Night5.00pm - 7.00pmDetached East End & HendonWednesday Night6.00pm - 8.00pmCentre Based Health & Sports Mixed Group11 - 19 YearsThursday Night 6.00pm - 8.00pmCentre Based Mixed Youth Sessions13 - 19 YearsFriday Night5.00pm - 7.00pmCentre Based Music Workshop13 - 19 Years ACTIVITIES Our Work Includes YOU CAN DO IT Since 1979 HYPP To see all content, you will need the current version of Adobe Flash Player to view it. |
